Quick measuring notes — how to check fit:
- Measure your pet’s widest point (usually across the shoulders). That width should be less than the inner aperture width (first number in the Inner Aperture column).
- Measure shoulder height from the floor to the top of the shoulders. That height should be less than the inner aperture height (second number in the Inner Aperture column).
- Allow about 1 inch of extra clearance for comfortable passage. If your pet is between sizes, choose the larger size.
- Door thickness/depth is shown in the third number (2.8 in); make sure your door material can accommodate that depth for proper installation.
