- Recommended for: Small to medium dogs up to about 35 lbs—examples: French Bulldogs, Beagles, Corgis, Shih Tzus—and for cats or very small dogs. Suitable for pets that ride in the back seat and need limited movement for safety.

Quick in‑car check (how to confirm fit):
- Use a harness (recommended) and clip the seat belt to the harness D‑ring.
- Place your pet on the car seat where they'll ride and fasten the belt to the headrest.
- Adjust so your pet can sit and lie down comfortably. Aim for about 6–10 inches of slack from the harness D‑ring when the pet is seated—enough to move into a natural sitting/lying position but not enough to reach the front seat.
- Compatibility note: Works with most vehicles that have removable headrest posts. If your headrest is fixed or nonstandard, confirm the strap can loop around or attach to the headrest area before use.
