- Fit recommendation: This product is one standard mat and is best for small-to-medium dogs — we recommend for dogs up to about 30 lbs (for example: Pugs, French Bulldogs, Corgis, Dachshunds, and small terriers).

How to check it will fit your dog (very quick):
- Measure chest girth: wrap a soft tape measure around the widest part of the chest (right behind the front legs).
- Measure body length: measure from the tip of the nose to the base of the tail.
- If your dog’s chest is roughly 22 inches or smaller and body length is roughly 20 inches or smaller, this mat will be a comfortable fit for foraging and slow feeding.
- If your dog is larger: for dogs over ~30 lbs or with a chest larger than ~22 inches, the mat may still work for short feeding sessions but will be less roomy; consider using multiple mats or supervising to ensure all food is accessible.
- Quick tip: Place the mat on the floor, sprinkle kibble or treats into the folds, and watch for comfortable reaching — if your dog can reach all areas while standing without overextending, the mat will work well.
