How to measure your pet (quick):
- Back length — measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail (in inches).
- Shoulder height — measure from the floor to the top of the shoulder (in inches).
- Weight — use a scale or recent vet record (in lbs).
Fit check: your pet should be able to turn around and lie down comfortably inside the carrier. As a rule of thumb, allow about 2 inches of clearance beyond your pet's back length and shoulder height for comfortable movement.
