Size Information
- One size — recommended fit: Designed for small dogs up to about 12 lbs. Ideal for toy breeds such as Chihuahuas, Yorkshire Terriers, Toy Poodles, Pomeranians, and Maltese.
- How to confirm this will fit your dog: 1) Weigh your dog — if your dog is 12 lbs or less, this seat is a good fit; 2) Measure your dog’s back length (base of neck to base of tail) and chest girth (widest part of the ribcage) — this seat suits typical toy-breed proportions. If your dog is a toy breed under 12 lbs, the seat will be appropriate.
- Installation & security: The seat uses adjustable straps to attach securely to the center console and includes a built-in safety leash to keep your dog restrained during travel.
Quick measuring tips — use a soft tape measure: 1) Back length: measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail while your dog stands; 2) Chest girth: wrap the tape around the widest part of the chest, just behind the front legs; 3) Weight: use a scale or visit the vet for an accurate number. These checks will confirm the recommended small-dog fit.
